Baby food

Speaking of the baby, you know she really like food and her favorite one at the moment is good old fashioned mac and cheese. In fact, one day at day care the hot lunch being served was mac and cheese so we thought it would be fun to get her a hot lunch that day. Keep in mind the kids go to daycare at the Junior High school, so the hot lunches are normal size for bigger kids. When we went to pick her up the teacher's comment went something like this, "Holy crap, we gave her the plate and she ate ALL of it. Every little noodle and the cookie." It's a fun story and I thought I'd share her pure baby delight with food.

She's ONE

So I'm a little behind again. Several weeks ago Lily celebrated her very first birthday. We had a good time over at my parents' house. As usual with first birthday parties, Lily didn't care too much about what was going on. She just ate her cake and played with the other kids. Here are a couple of photos from the big day.


We tried to use cupcakes disguised as a regular cake and if you squint really hard and tilt your head to the right 120 degrees you can see that it's the number one.


Her bounty included some clothes, a few toys, and we got her a toddler playset so that when the weather finally turns she has something to play on in the yard with her siblings.
